Carrots are another good treat you can serve your pet rats. Raa are going to derive vitamin A and fiber from eating carrots. You can munch the carrots in small pieces for the rats. 


Banana is another healthy treat you can serve the pet rats. Rats cannot eat the peel on the bananas but the fruit inside. Antioxidants are one of those nutrients the rats are going to gain from wst bananas.


If you have some kiwi at your disposal, you can serve them to the pet rats. Kiwi is safe for the rats. Kiwi is also rich in vitamins and minerals. 


Rats can also eat fish. This is possible because the rats are omnivorous in nature. Better still, you can serve cooked fish to the rats. 


Celery is one of the vegetables you can serve the rats. Celery should be served to the pet rats once in a while because they have less nutritional value.

Oranges are one of the fruits you should not serve to pet rats, especially the male rats. Oranges contain substances which can damage the kidney of the male rats.
