It is your duty to know the nutritional value as well as the toxic substances that may be present in any new treat which you want to introduce to your pet.

You can do personal research about the treat. There are so many reports online talking about different treats for pets.

Zinnias are flowers, they do not require any techniques or special way when you want to introduce them to the chickens.

Zinnias are not treats like potato broccoli guava apple orange cheese ham lettuce pumpkin watermelon etc which you need to cut, slice and take away the seeds before you serve the chickens.

If you have zinnia flowers in the garden, you can give your chickens access to it and they are going to eat whatever seems palatable to them in the garden.

How often do I feed my chickens with zinnias?

Chickens are capable of eating different things including flowers. Another thing is that, they are capable of eating the required amount they need on any treat, there are some exceptions to the rules.

It can be very hard to pick the number of times the chicken needs to eat zinnias you have in the garden.

You only need to give them free will to browse around in the garden and let them dictate on their own.
